Vikings Veterans is a strong community, with achievements that go back 20+ years. Lots of good experiences, lots of new fantastic friends in the skaterhockey community. Playing against new friends and old opponents from the early 90s onwards, is very special and a pleasant experience with lots of good stories from the old days. We thank the hosts from Rossemaison for ALWAYS delivering quality in these events. We wish EVERYONE a good tournament and good experiences in good company. Even though many of us are over 50 years old, we still go for the best placements, it's in our blood. FORZA VIKINGS.

Gentofte Starz Veterans – A decade of passion and performance
Over the past ten years, Gentofte Starz Veterans have proudly represented the spirit of inline skaterhockey with dedication, consistency, and a true love for the game. From thrilling matches to unforgettable moments, we’ve remained a strong presence in the veteran scene—both nationally and beyond. With a solid core of experienced players and a relentless team spirit, we’ve consistently competed at a high level. In 2024, when we claimed the Danish Championship—a milestone that reflects the hard work and commitment we've invested over the years. Our record speaks for itself, but what truly defines us is the camaraderie, the fight, and the fun we’ve shared on and off the rink. We look forward to adding new memories to our story at this tournament.

Phoenix reformed with the introduction of Vets hockey and have taken part in the three IISHF Vets European cups in 2013 – 2017 – 2019.
Over the years at home, we have been national runners up twice and have played many tournaments abroad over 10–15-year period, in Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands to name a few.
We have also played in the Daniel Carter memorial tournament a few years ago, where lots of old teams came together to play again, we ran out runners up losing to a strong black biscuit team. We’re looking forward to playing in the 2025 Vets cup and meeting up with old friends.

The 95ers veterans – A team of style and legacy
Whether defending champions, top scorers, or simply the most charming squad in green – when it comes to the 95ers Veterans, it's all or nothing. Since their founding, these “oldies but goldies” from Vienna have caused a stir both on and off the rink – with skill, experience, and a healthy dose of self-irony.
In their debut season, the team immediately clinched the Austrian championship – a feat they quickly repeated. Those who know the Veterans understand: their desire to win is as strong as ever. And while the post-game celebrations may be more strategic than wild, their ability to entertain doesn’t end with the final whistle.
The team is built around founding members, a loyal core of true 95ers, and a select few guest players who have become an integral part of the squad. Demand for a spot on the roster is high, and at times it seems that some under-35s are prematurely embracing the veteran lifestyle just to get in. But fair warning: a pension record alone won’t secure a nomination – it’s all about character, class, and that unique 95ers spirit.
This year, the team from Vienna has extra motivation: they're returning to where their European journey began. The very first Europacup they played in took place in Rossemaison. Will they go further than second-to-last this time?
